CIVIC Family Health Care is located in the brand new, purpose-built Health Hub on Arthur Street, in the middle of Blenheim’s CBD. Entry is via the carpark that was once used for the Old Civic Theatre. The practice hosts eight consult rooms, a quick consult room, nurses consult, triage facility, a two bed treatment room, a 20 person wait room, two subwait stations, and an adjacent pharmacy. We want you to feel at home at our practice: to feel welcome and well looked after and greatly encourage your feedback for improvement.

Car Parking

There are 15 carparks available in the carpark near the entrance of the CIVIC Practice. There is also 2 hour parking in the Countdown carpark, and a short walk over the crossing will bring you to our door.

GP TRIAGE

We are undergoing training and putting processes in place to better handle the urgent needs of our patients and same-day appointments. When this begins, (likely in the New Year) you will notice a change when you phone in the mornings for a same-day appointment. Your name and number will be taken by our lovely phone team and within 30 minutes you will be phoned back by a GP, who will talk to you to find out what the best plan is for your concerns. Later in the day a nurse may call you back to make that plan. Our aim is to provide more convenient, appropriate, and timely care to meet your needs.
