• Minor Surgery
  We have a small purpose-built theatre on site for minor surgery, Occupational Health and Sexual Health.

• Sports Medicine
  Dr. Marfell is an HPSNZ accredited provider and has a strong interest in this area.

• Spot checks – Melanoma and General Skin Checks
  We provide minor surgery for biopsy and treatment, as well as CO2 ice treatment.

• Travel Medicine & Vaccinations (inc. Yellow Fever)
  Dr. XXXX is our provider for Travel Medicine. Her clinic is also accredited for Yellow Fever Vaccinations.

As a Practice we have committed to continuous development and part of this has us on a journey to becoming a Health Care Home.  

This is a model of healthcare that has been proven in other practices around New Zealand and we have been selected as one of the 5 Practices in Nelson/Marlborough to look at ways to improve the way we work with patients and other health professionals.

We are continuously training and putting processes in place to better handle the urgent needs of our patients and same-day appointments.   When this begins (likely in the new year), you will notice a change when you phone in the mornings for a same-day appointment. 

Your name and number will be taken by our lovely phone team and within 30 minutes you will be phoned back by a GP, who will talk to you to find out what the best plan is for your concerns. 

Our aim is to better handle your acute calls and needs.
