Our Protocol for Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions for some medication may be obtained without making an appointment to see your doctor, but this is always at the doctor’s discretion. The final decision on types and amounts of medications supplied on repeat prescription is up to your Doctor, so you may be asked to attend for a consultation before receiving your medication.

We do not provide repeats if it is 12 months or more since you were last seen or if your medication was changed at your last visit. If you are a new patient or have not previously been given your medication regularly by Civic Family Health Care you must be seen first. Appointments for unrelated issues such as ACC etc do not suffice as a medication review.
